Yesterday's health care "summit", chaired by none other than Der Führer, our holiness, his excellency, Barack Hussein Obama, was many things. Bipartisan it was not.
The summit was merely Obama's vehicle to scold and lecture the Republicans and the American people. He made no effort to evaluate and consider Republican ideas. This was just a show, a symbolic gesture which was supposed to communicate and illustrate his "commitment" to bipartisanship and transparency, a la Soviet Union-style. But Barry, you can't just talk the talk, you must walk the walk! Actions speak louder than words. Surely I could think of and cite many more proverbs which demonstrate the vacancy and shallowness of your meaningless rhetoric. I will, however, spare my readers the obvious.
You know, often times political leaders are compared to others from history. In a fit of rage or frustration a maniacal dictator is often invoked in this context. Sometimes the comparison is valid, though often it is not. I cannot, however, think of a more fitting occasion to compare Obama to any number of dictators from human history.
Here, for example, is Obama's smug, arrogant and condescending remark after McCain makes the point that Americans overwhelmingly reject the democrats' proposals. More importantly, notice Obama's irritation. He looks like he's about to explode:
"Sit down, little boy, the election is over, you lost, I won, I'm the boss, and the country will damn will do what I want!"
That his how Obama's tone can be described throughout the day yesterday. He was irritated, he just wanted to get through the day because long ago he already decided, against the will of the American people, what he was going to do: force his ideology on us like a dictator! Obama's actions speak for themselves. It does not take a genius to figure out that Barry has a Napoleon complex.
Obama's behavior clearly illustrates something which Rush Limbaugh said so well on January 28, 2010: "No matter where he is, Barack Obama is always the least experienced most condescending guy in the room. He has a personality uniquely unsuited for constructive leadership. Community organizing? Yeah. Leadership? No. He's boorish."
There is good news, though. The American people are not stupid. Sooner or later even the moronic democrats will learn this. At the very latest they will learn when they suddenly find themselves among the rest of the unemployed Americans in November. And yesterday's summit may very well facilitate or at least light the fire, culminating in their dismissals. It was, after all, an embarrassingly dismal performance by the democrats. The American people know this to be true.
There are several CHEAP alternatives to the economy-takeover strategy of Der Führer. Don't allow Barry to insist on the expensive, "I will control all of your lives solution". Tommy De Seno makes some compelling arguments and offers suggestions to the president. More...
McCain's thoughts on the matter:
Listen to and watch Rep. Paul Ryan. Any person with half a brain can recognize that what this man is saying makes complete sense. He outlines the fiscal realities of Obama's proposal which make more spending virtual suicide. Additionally, he is aware of and in touch with the will of the informed (mostly) American public. He knows they don't want this bill.
Real Americans, real patriots, the principles which formed our country, the principles which will allow us to endure, to persevere:
Democrats, you're like a junkie who doesn't know he needs help, doesn't want help, is happy in his putrid stench. And after you wake up in a dumpster you come running to us, wondering where it all went wrong, wondering why we never told you you were destroying yourself. You didn't want to listen!
We have the luxury of being able, and allowed, to contact our representatives in Washington D.C. if we wish to file a grievance. They represent US, work for US, are paid by US, they need to listen to US, to our wishes, complaints, suggestions.
This is why emailsenators.com exists. It allows anyone to contact our US senators, ALL US senators from one party at the same time by filling out a single online form!
There is a form to contact ALL republican senators, one to contact ALL democrat senators.
This is your chance to be heard!
We, citizens of the United States of America, live in the greatest country ever conceived. We enjoy more freedoms and more opportunities for self-determination than ANY other nation on planet Earth. It is no coincidence that more people from all over the globe, who wish to make a better life for themselves elsewhere, choose the United States over ANY other nation. They wish to enjoy the freedom they never had before.
However, it is of utmost importance that each and EVERY citizen be reminded of how our forefathers were able to ensure these freedoms we enjoy, and the documents which made them possible. Unfortunately, all too many Americans take our freedoms for granted. They do not understand the effort and sacrifice which was required to obtain these freedoms.
It is as important today, if not MORE important, to fight for and honor the achievements of our founding fathers in the late 18th century. Without their steadfast dedication to their principles and convictions, NONE OF US would have the freedoms we enjoy today.
Especially now, during trying economic times, adhering to our nation's principles, not besmirching our constitution or violating its content, more than ever we need to remember what made our country great...and conduct ourselves accordingly.
Make sure you read the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. EVERY American should read these documents!
