White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs has once again proven himself to be a classless boor as he takes a shot at Sarah Palin.
In yet another glaring example of the left's hypocrisy, Robert Gibbs demonstrates the kind of juvenile smugness which has become the hallmark of today's democratic party. They consistently allow themselves to engage in the kind of behavior which would, if a republican had done the same, be the topic of discussion for a week on all the morning shows, calling for everything from apologies to resignations.
Isn't it the democratic party which claims for itself the virtues of tolerance and equality? Time after time their classless actions expose them for the fools that they are. Their policies and political wrangling may not be transparent as promised, but their behavior certainly is. When will they realize that the American public "has their number"? Their smug arrogance and air of invincibility will cost them dearly when the final nail in their coffin of power is driven home in November. Go ahead, laugh it up Robert. Have you seen the job market? Better get crackin' on that résumé! "Shows overt disdain for women in the workplace" is not really a credential too many future employers will embrace.
We have the luxury of being able, and allowed, to contact our representatives in Washington D.C. if we wish to file a grievance. They represent US, work for US, are paid by US, they need to listen to US, to our wishes, complaints, suggestions.
This is why emailsenators.com exists. It allows anyone to contact our US senators, ALL US senators from one party at the same time by filling out a single online form!
There is a form to contact ALL republican senators, one to contact ALL democrat senators.
This is your chance to be heard!
We, citizens of the United States of America, live in the greatest country ever conceived. We enjoy more freedoms and more opportunities for self-determination than ANY other nation on planet Earth. It is no coincidence that more people from all over the globe, who wish to make a better life for themselves elsewhere, choose the United States over ANY other nation. They wish to enjoy the freedom they never had before.
However, it is of utmost importance that each and EVERY citizen be reminded of how our forefathers were able to ensure these freedoms we enjoy, and the documents which made them possible. Unfortunately, all too many Americans take our freedoms for granted. They do not understand the effort and sacrifice which was required to obtain these freedoms.
It is as important today, if not MORE important, to fight for and honor the achievements of our founding fathers in the late 18th century. Without their steadfast dedication to their principles and convictions, NONE OF US would have the freedoms we enjoy today.
Especially now, during trying economic times, adhering to our nation's principles, not besmirching our constitution or violating its content, more than ever we need to remember what made our country great...and conduct ourselves accordingly.
Make sure you read the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. EVERY American should read these documents!
